On-site Gatherings

Community Building Lounges

Lounges are intended to be a safe place to share what is on your mind and in your heart. It is our hope conference attendees will take advantage of this unique opportunity to engage with colleagues and fellow attendees. Prior to registering for space and time within these lounges, we ask that you review the guidelines.

Guidelines

  1. Registered contact person or team is responsible for the marketing of and invitations to potential audiences of these sessions to ensure successful participation. FPA will post lounge schedules online for conference registrants as they are available and will provide on-site participant sign-up forms at Boston.
  2. AV accommodations are not provided in these four lounges. Participant materials and handouts may be handed out by the registered contact person if they deem necessary, provided that the materials are educational or conversational in content. FPA is not responsible for the production or distribution of any noted handouts.
  3. This is not a forum for unsolicited advertising or promoting personal political agendas.
  4. Registrants representing a firm are expected to adhere to FPA guidelines by presenting on a topic, rather than a product. Product lounges are available in the exhibit hall for demonstrations related to specific products or services provided by your firm.
  5. Limit: Two sessions per facilitator or per topic. Exhibitor facilitators are limited to one topic.
  6. FPA retains the right to schedule the topic during a time of its own discretion.
  7. You own your own words. You retain all rights to your words.
  8. Assume goodwill. Respect others' opinions. If you find something offensive, take a moment to reflect on the facilitator's or participant's intent. Ask for clarification and respond with respect.
  9. FPA does not certify accuracy of any information or certify that any level of expertise relevant to that information has been met. FPA is not responsible for harm to persons or property resulting from discussions facilitated or material presented within these lounges.
  10. Inquiries regarding these guidelines and schedule registration should be directed to Christine Richardson at 800.322.4237, ex. 7188.
