Hotel Information

Please note the importance of staying in the conference hotels. In order to book FPA Boston 2008, FPA contracted blocks of discounted sleeping rooms at the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel (host hotel), Renaissance Waterfront, Seaport Hotel, Marriott Copley Place, Colonnade, Boston Park Plaza hotels and Hampton Inn & Suites Crosstown Center. If the blocks are not filled by meeting attendees, financial penalties are incurred by FPA. This ultimately impacts the financial state of FPA and consequently future registration fees. The FPA Housing Bureau must receive hotel reservations by Thursday, September 4, 2008. To make room reservations, call the FPA Boston 2008 Housing Desk Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. EDT, at 800.388.8816. Housing reservations can be made online.

Hotel Shuttle Information

Shuttle service will be provided between select hotels (Marriott Copley Place, Colonnade and Boston Park Plaza) and the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center beginning the morning of Saturday, October 4. The Hampton Inn & Suites Crosstown Center provides their own shuttle service to and from the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. The Westin Boston Waterfront, Renaissance Waterfront and Seaport hotels are within walking distance of the convention center.

Tax Deductions

Dues, contributions or gifts to FPA are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes, but they may be deductible as business expenses.
