FPA has selected United Airlines and Andavo Travel as the official air carrier and travel agency for FPA Boston 2008. Taxi Service from Logan International Airport
Taxis are readily available at Logan International Airport from all terminals; follow airport signs for taxi pick-up areas. Elsewhere, call for a taxi or ask your concierge. Average prices to hotels in FPA's housing block range from $15 to $30, depending on the hotel's distance from the airport.
Boston taxis are available at Logan Airport terminals, on the arrival level, 24 hours a day and provide service throughout New England. All areas within a 12-mile radius of downtown Boston are charged a metered rate. Beyond the 12-mile radius the charge is a flat rate. All fares are based upon the occupancy of one to four passengers per taxi. Station wagons, accessible taxis for persons with disabilities, and credit card taxis are available upon request at Logan Airport. See a Massport Ground Transportation agent, located outside of each terminal on the arrival level, for further assistance.
Station wagon and van taxicabs are entitled to an additional $5 fee if a passenger has excessive luggage, skis or boxes. Passengers needing a lift-equipped or ramp-equipped taxi to get to Logan Airport should call their local taxi company directly. These specially equipped taxis are available from Boston, Cambridge, and some other surrounding towns at no additional fee.

There are several shared van services. Information regarding these companies can be found online at massport.com.Shared vans pick up from the arrival level at Logan International Airport at all terminals. Prior reservations are not needed but encouraged.

Rental Cars
Currently, eight rental car companies operate at Logan International Airport: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty. In Terminals C & E, all rental car companies have direct line telephone boards connecting to the local facility and their worldwide reservation centers. Each rental car company has complimentary shuttle buses that transport passengers to/from the terminal and the rental car facility. Shuttles run frequently and stop curbside on the arrival level for passengers to board. Departure level service is available on request.

From Logan International Airport and Route 1A South
Follow the signs toward I-90 West/Ted Williams Tunnel. Take I-90 West/Ted Williams Tunnel to Exit 25 — "South Boston." At the top of the ramp, take a right onto Congress Street. At the end of Congress Street, take a right onto D Street. Take the second right onto Summer Street. The BCEC will be immediately on the left.
From Western Massachusetts via Massachusetts Turnpike
Follow the Massachusetts Turnpike /I-90 East to Exit 25 — "South Boston." At the top of the ramp, bear left. At the first set of lights, take a right onto Congress Street. At the end of Congress Street, take a right onto D Street. Take the second right onto Summer Street. The BCEC will be immediately on the left.
From Points South via I-93
Passenger vehicles ONLY
Take I-93 North to Exit 20 (immediately after Exit 18). Follow the signs to "I-90 East." Take the "South Boston" exit. At the first set of lights, take a right onto Congress Street. At the end of Congress Street, take a right onto D Street. Take the second right onto Summer Street. The BCEC will be immediately on the left.
From Points South via I-93
Commercial vehicles ONLY/truck route
Take I-93 North to Exit 18 — Massachusetts Avenue. At the first set of lights, take a right onto the South Boston Bypass Road. Take a right onto Cypher Street, and then turn left into the BCEC at C Street.
From Points North via I-93
Take I-93 South to Exit 23, "High Street." At the end of the exit ramp, proceed straight onto Purchase Street. Take the first left onto Congress Street. Follow Congress Street for approximately 1 mile to the end, and take a right onto D Street. Take the second right onto Summer Street. The BCEC will be immediately on the left.
